The shipmodeling competition among radio-controlled speedboats (FSR Classes), Belarus Open Cup Motor-2024, took place in Vibebsk (Belarus), from 17 to 19 May 2024. The event was arranged in the flood plain of river Vitba. It is not by accident that the competition took place exactly there: in this spot, the water current is at its minimum and there are no big waves. Thus, the speedboats are able to develop the highest speed possible. In total, 13 teams and 50 modelers participated in the Cup. Russia was presented by racers from Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Vyborg, Zhukovskiy, Tver, Staraya Russa and Vladimir Region.…
► Motor-2024 Belarus Open Cup (FSR Classes) – Competition Protocol
As some of the racers competed in several classes, the Cup saw altogether over 80 models. Both junior and more experienced modelers were vying for the victory. According to the results of the team competition, the first place belongs to DOSAAF Water Sports School (Minsk), the second place is for the Russian team from Tver and the third one was given to the team from DOSAAF Vitebsk Regional Department (Belarus).
