Competitions under SMSIF Auspices-2024

SMSIF organizes competitions among the following categories of models:

NS – scaled radio-controlled models;
C – static models;
M – speed models;
FSR – race models;
S – race radio-controlled yacht models;
A/B – cord models.

In this section, you can find all information you need to take part in the competitions organized or held under SMSIF auspices, i.e., announcements, competitions regulations, results of competitions, including official protocols.

Nizhnevolzhskaya Regatta-2024 International Competition (F5-10, F5-M, RG-65, F5-Е Classes)

Nizhnevolzhskaya Regatta-2024, an international ship modeling competition in radio-controlled racing yachts is to take place in Astrakhan (Russia). Sports disciplines: F5-10, F5-M, RG-65, F5-Е Classes. Dates: 22-26 September 2024.

Competition organizers: SMSIF International Shipmodel Sport Federation; Federation of Ship Modeling Sport of Russia; Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation; Federal State Budgetary Institution “Center for Sports Training”; JSC United Shipbuilding Corporation. Location: Grebnoy Kanal (rowing channel), Privolshskiy Zaton 13, Astrakhan, Russia.

The organizer fee is RUR1500. Young men and women aged under 19 are exempt from paying the fee. Citizens of friendly countries can participate in the Regatta once they have paid the fee. Each country may bring 15 competitors max.

Preliminary application and registration forms from national federations and clubs are accepted as scanned copies. The forms should be filled in according to the templates (.docx files, the Chief Secretary of the competition will send them upon request). The forms should be signed by the participants and certified by stamps of the national federations; then scanned, saved as PDF documents and sent to the Chief Secretary at This email address is being protected from spambots. The official registration of participants will take place on 22 September 2024, from 10 am till 8 pm. The registration venue: Privolzhskiy Zaton Embankment 14, DOSAAF.

Belarus Open Championship “Minsk Grand Prix-2024” (FSR Classes)

We are happy to invite you to participate in “Minsk Grand Prix-2024” – Belarus Open Championship and Junior Championship among radio-controlled speedboats. The event is to take place from 30 August to 1 September 2024. Please note that the location has been changed. The updated location: a pond near TETS-4 (thermal power plant), Sukharevo district, Minsk, Belarus. The entrance is from Mazurov Street (see the map).

Organizers: DOSAAF Central Committee, DOSAAF Water Sports School, Belarusian Federation of Ship Modeling Sport.

Sports teams and individual competitors (in personal standings) from other countries are welcome to participate along with Belarusian sports teams and groups. The number of participants per team is not limited. Each modeler may compete in any number of classes. As for juniors, modelers who were born in 2006 at the earliest are entitled to participate in the event. “EURASIA Championship-2024” International Competition (ECO, F2/F4, A/B, C, FSR-E, F-FPV Classes)

The international competition among speedboats, cord and scaled models, EURASIA Championship-2024, is to take place from 15 August to 22 August 2024 in Vladivostok, Russia.

The organizers include SMSIF ShipmodeI Sport International Federation; Federation of Ship Modeling Sport of Russia; Primorskiy Krai Regional Department of FSMR; Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation; Ministry of Sport of Primorskiy Krai; Admiral Nevelskoy Maritime State University; Vladivostok city administration; Vladivostok Regional Parliament (Duma); PAO Sovkomflot (MOEX-FLOT); JSC “United Shipbuilding Corporation”; PAO "Rosneft" Oil Company. The general sponsor is FESCO Transport Group. Location: lakes in Mine Park, Vladivostok, Russia.

The organizer fee is not required. Any citizen of any country may participate in the competition and represent his/her country after their have sent the application. Each national ship modeling federation may bring max. 5 competitors per class.
