In this section, you can find all information you need to take part in the competitions organized or held under SMSIF auspices, i.e., announcements, competitions regulations, results of competitions, including official protocols.


Russian Open Championship 2026 (С Classes)

Russian Shipmodeling Open Championship among C Classes (static models) will take place in Saint Petersburg, from 28 June to 05 July 2026.

The event will be located at the Federal Budgetary Culture and Arts Institution “Peter the Great Central Naval Museum” under the auspices of Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation (Museum address: 5 Truda Sq., Saint Petersburg, Russia).

The Championship is planned as an open competition; foreign participants are welcome as well.

Russian competitors born before 2008 should have the valid FSMR membership and pay the Russian license plus the organizing fee (RUR 500 for one model or RUR 800 for two and more models). Young men and women (born in 2008 and after) are free from fees and do not require FSMR membership or licenses. You may find all the necessary details in the Competition Regulations.

“Navigation-2026” International Competition (C, NS, NSS and FSR-ECO Classes)

“Navigation-2026” is an international shipmodeling sport competition and Belarus Championship and Junior Championship in C Classes (static models), NS and NSS Classes (scaled radio-controlled models), FSR-ECO speed models. The event is to take place from 18 to 21 June 2026.

The organizers include SMSIF ShipModel Sport International Federation, DOSAAF Central Council (Belarus), DOSAAF Water Sports School, Belarusian Federation of Ship Modeling Sport.

Competition venue: DOSAAF Water Sports School (7 Ignatenko Str., Minsk, Belarus), Komsomolskoye Lake.

EURASIA Shipmodeling Championship-2026 (A/B, F1-E, ECO, F2-A, F2-B, F4-B, F4-C Classes)

Eurasia Shipmodeling Championship-2026 among speedboats, cord and scaled models (A/B, F1-E, ECO, F2-A, F2-B, F4-B, F4-C Classes) is to take place from 29 May to 04 June 2026 in Vladivostok (Russian Federation).

The competition organizers include ShipModel Sport International Federation (SMSIF), Federation of Ship Modeling Sport of Russia, Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Physical Culture and Sport of Primorskiy Krai, Admiral Nevelskoy Maritime State University, with support from Primorskiy Krai government, Vladivostok city administration and Vladivostok city council (Duma).

Modelers from any country wishing to participate in the competition are welcome to the starts.

All the ceremonies (opening, closing and awards) will take place on May, 29th and June, 04th correspondingly in the assembly hall of Far-East Maritime Training Center of Admiral Nevelskoy Maritime State University (66в Verkhneportovaya Street, Vladivostok, Russia).

The models will be launched from May, 30th to June, 3rd among three class groups – cord, copies and speed radio-controlled models. The start locations will be arranged inside Mine Park. Modelers will train and compete in Mine Park at two lakes, Lower Lake for radio-controlled models and Middle Lake (cord models).

The static evaluation of models-copies is to take place at Admiral Nevelskoy Maritime State University (inside Far-East Maritime Training Center, 66в Verkhneportovaya Street). The same location (i.e. Training Center) will host various press-conferences dedicated to the event, the conference dates are May, 29th and June, 04th 2026.

The spectators and guests who wish to attend Mine Park, Opening, Closing and Awards Ceremonies as well as the static evaluation venue, are welcome to do so free of any charge.

"Minskaya Vesna-2026" WORLD SHIPMODELING CUP (C, RG65, F5-E and F5-M Classes)

“Minskaya Vesna-2026”, the World Shipmodeling Cup among “C” Category static models and radio-controlled yachts (RG65, F5-E, F5-M) is to take place in Minsk, the Belarusian capital city, from 23 April to 26 April 2026.

Key organizer of the event: SMSIF ShipModel Sport International Federation. Other organizers: DOSAAF Central Office, Federation of Shipmodeling Sport in Belarus, DOSAAF Water Sports School.

Individual modelers as well as teams from any country are welcome to participate in the World Cup-2026. This also applies to countries where national federations are not SMSIF members. The number of competitors per team is not limited.

Competition venue: Technical Creativity Center for Children and Youth (34 Vaneeva Str., Minsk). There is a parking lot available to the Center visitors. As for the accommodation, "East Time Hotel" (web page https://easttime-hotel.by) is located just within walking distance from the Center. The starts among radio-controlled yachts will take place at Komsomolskoye Lake.

The participants are obliged pay the entry fee: 60 Belarusian rubles (BYN) for senior competitors and 20 Belarusian rubles (BYN) for junior ones (that covers 2 static models or 3 radio-controlled yachts). If a competitor wishes to bring additional models, the entry fee is increased by 20 Belarusian rubles (BYN) for each extra model (seniors) and by 10 Belarusian rubles (BYN) for each extra model (junior competitors).
