Belarus Open Cup “Motor-2023” in FSR Classes took place from June, 23 to June, 25 2023. The competition allowed for international participation and was held in River Vitba water area, in Vitebsk city park, close to the place where the famous festival, “Slavyanskiy Bazar” is arranged. In total, 8 teams came to compete, 5 from Belarus and 3 from Russia. The first place went to competitors from DOSAAF Water Sports School (Minsk) which is the training base for the Belarusian national team. Next came the Russian team from Tver city...
“Motor” regularly attracts whole dynasties of Belarusian racers as participants, winners and prize-winners, such as Sergey and Andrey Kasach, Dmitriy and Nikolay Esyuchenko (Vitebsk).
One of the most successful competitors at “Motor” Open Cup was Sergey Dementyev (Tver, Russia) who came first in FSR-V-3,5 and FSR-V-27 Classes. Another Russian racer, Andrey Bikeev (Staraya Russa) was a winner by a wide margin in FSR-H-7,5 Class. In FSR-O-27 Class, the first place went to Igor Slabukho (Minsk), Master of Sports of International Class, who has returned to big sport after a long break. Dominica Znachyonok (also from Minsk) distinguished herself among young competitors by coming first in FSR-V-7,5 (Juniors) Class.
