The Championship programme brought together various ship model categories all vying for victory, such as speed, cord, static and radio-controlled scaled models. The participants were able to showcase their own designs as well as precise copies of the existing ships and vessels in 26 different classes which SMSIF International Shipmodel Sport Federation is developing. At the official closing ceremony, guests and competitors were warmly greeted by Denis Burov, Rector of Admiral Nevelskoy Maritime State University, Yuri Grachev, Deputy Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of Primorsky Krai and Vyacheslav Glushko, Member of Vladivostok City Parliament (Duma) who also chairs one of its committees. The local MP awarded the event organizers with Duma-issued diplomas to appreciate their outstanding work in preparing the Eurasian championship. The Championship winners and prize-winners in individual competition were honoured with the highest sports awards.
