Nizhnevolzhskaya Regatta-2025, an international ship modeling competition in radio-controlled racing yachts is to take place in Astrakhan (Russia). Sports disciplines: F5-10, F5-M, F5-E, F5-mono (RG-65) – demo class, F5-mono (Micro Magic). Competition date: 21-29 September 2025. Competition photo report

The organizer fee for senior modelers (aged 19-65) is 1500 RUR. Young men and women aged up to 19 years old and modelers over 65 are to pay 800 RUR. Citizens of friendly countries can participate in the Regatta once they have paid the fee. Each country may bring 10 competitors max.

Preliminary application and registration forms from national federations and clubs are accepted as scanned copies. The forms should be filled in according to the templates (*.docx files, the Chief Secretary of the competition will send them upon request). The forms should be signed by the participants and certified by stamps of the national federations; then scanned, saved as PDF documents and sent to the Chief Secretary at This email address is being protected from spambots. The official registration of participants will take place on 21 September 2025, from 10 am till 8 pm. Registration venue: Privolzhskiy Zaton Embankment 14, DOSAAF.


Competition Results

The International Shipmodeling Sport Competition, aptly named “Nizhnevolzhskaya Regatta-2025", was help in Astrakhan, Russia. Vitaliy Shchepin, Minister of Industry, Trade and Energy of Astrakhan Region, participated in the opening ceremony. In Mr Shchepin’s opinion, “Nizhnevolzhskaya Regatta" has become one of Astrakhan’s most beloved traditions as ship building in general is among the key industries of that region. The Minister hopefully said that being for many young people, being keen on shipmodeling sport could become the first step towards professional ship building. Both young modelers and more experienced ones participated in the event. In total, teams from 11 regions represented the Russian Federation.

Winners of personal competitions:

  • F5-10 Class, seniors: Dmitriy Koipish, score - 15 (Belarus Federation of Shipmodeling Sport and DOSAAF team, Minsk, Belarus);
  • F5-10 Class, juniors: Marat Zhdanov, score - 48 (Belarus Federation of Shipmodeling Sport and DOSAAF team, Minsk, Belarus);
  • F5-10 Class, girls: Elena Kyakk, score - 125 (Saint Petersburg Center for Children’s Technical Creativity, Russia);
  • F5-E Class, seniors: Aleksey Semenov, score - 17 (Kazan city team, Russia);
  • F5-E Class, juniors: Tikhon Palkin, score - 16 (Moscow team, Russia);
  • F5-E Class, girls: Elena Kyakk, score - 75 (Saint Petersburg Center for Children’s Technical Creativity, Russia);
  • F5-M Class, seniors: Dmitriy Koipish, score - 12 (Belarus Federation of Shipmodeling Sport and DOSAAF team, Minsk, Belarus);
  • F5-M Class, juniors: Maksim Boda, score - 68 (Belarus Federation of Shipmodeling Sport and DOSAAF team, Minsk, Belarus);
  • F5-M Class, girls: Olga Ignatyeva, score - 125 (Regional School Technopark, Astrakhan, Russia);
  • RG65 Class, seniors: Dmitriy Koipish, score - 13 (Belarus Federation of Shipmodeling Sport and DOSAAF team, Minsk, Belarus);
  • RG65 Class, juniors: Daniil Kuzmin, score - 15 (Saint Petersburg team, Federation of Shipmodeling Sport of Russia);
  • F5-mono Class, seniors: Gleb Kharlip, score - 16 (Moscow team, Russia);
  • F5-mono Class, juniors: Tikhon Palkin, score - 14 (Moscow team, Russia);
  • F5-mono Class, girls: Alisa Glustsova, score - 41 (Saint Petersburg Center for Children’s Technical Creativity, Russia).

As for the team competition, here, the national Belarus team became the winner among seniors, and Russian national team - among junior participants.
