“Tsemes Bay Cup-2025” International Competition in C Category (static models) is to take place from 30 October to 5 November 2025. The event will be held in Novorossiysk under the SMSIF auspices (ShipModel Sport International Federation). At the same time, the city will host another competition, Russian Open Championship 2025 (in static classes). International Competition organizers: FSMR Regional Department in Krasnodarskiy Krai, Novorossiysk Fleet History Club, Admiral Ushakov Maritime State University in Novorossiysk, Black Sea Feet Admirals’ Museum at Municipal Secondary School # 34 in Novorossiysk.
The International Competition will involve men and women without any age, residential and citizenship restrictions. Besides, junior authors of models are welcome to participate as well, in two groups, young modelers up to 12 years old inclusively (younger age group) and aged from 13 to 18 inclusively (older age group). Both junior groups are free from residential and citizenship restrictions. Scoring and awarding are held separately in each age group.
Modelers from Russian cities (other than Novorossiysk) and international participants are welcome to submit their preliminary applications for participation in “Tsemes Bay Cup-2025” from 1 August 2025 to the Organizer’s Registration Commission at the following email addresses: This email address is being protected from spambots. Tsemes Bay Cup-2025 and its results
This year’s “Tsemes Bay Cup” spectacularly started on 31 October 2025 in Admiral Ushakov Maritime State University in Novorossiysk (Russia). The event included both an international competition and Russian Shipmodeling Championship among C Classes (static models). Apart from the organizers, shipmodeling referees and competitors, the festive opening ceremony saw such guests as Andrey Antonov, Chairman of the City Council (Duma); Sergey Panchenko, Vice-Rector of Admiral Ushakov Maritime State University; Evgeniy Orlov – Vice-Admiral, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Black Sea Fleet (2001-2005), the first commander of the Russian Naval Base in Novorossiysk, Honourary Citizen of hero city Novorossiysk, member of the City Public Chamber.
The exposition presented for the competition included 175 models of various ships and vessels from Russian and Belorussian modelers. The best represented were such classes as C-1 (19 sailing ship models), C-2 (29 models of ships with mechanical propulsion), C-6B (18 plastic kit models), C-7 (31 paper and cardboard models) and C-8A (18 sailing ship models from combined kits). Significantly, models from junior competitors, who accounted for 30% of all participants, were presented in almost all classes.
The top prizes of the event went to Alexender Siventsev (Novorossiysk, Russia) – “Gold “Tsemes Bay Cup-2025” and Lev Alyoshin’s Memory Cup “The best model of the Russian Shipmodeling Championship 2025 among Static Models). Mr Siventsev’s diorama with cross-sections “Cristophe de Margerie” Gas Tanker in Sabetta” (C-3A Class) was awarded with 99,0 points from the judges.

Senior winners in “Tsemes Bay Cup-2025” gained 19 gold medals, prize-winners received 15 silver and 12 bronze medals. Junior competitors won 13 gold, 10 silver and 7 bronze medals. Besides, 40 models from various Russian regions were presented at the event out of competition.
Senior gold winners are Dmitriy Shevelyov (Nizhniy Novgorod, Russia), Vladimir Yakimov, Alexander Zagorulkin (Samara, Russia), Alexander Dyakov (Yessentuki, Russia), Alexender Siventsev, Andrey Levshin (Novorossiysk, Russia), Alexey Kutovenko, Oleg Khotko, Ignat Yaroshenko (Minsk, Belarus), Pavel Kedrov (Chelyabinsk, Russia), Stanislav Yakovlev (Ekaterinburg, Russia), Alexey Ryshov (Tolyatti, Russia), Mikhail Evtukh (Tikhoretsk, Russia).
Junior gold winners included Polina Chireychik (Minsk, Belarus), Yegor Zernin (Vitebsk, Belarus), Dmitriy Novitskiy (Ipatovo, Russia), David Maryasov, Ilya Kalyuzhniy, Victoria Soldatova (Sevastopol, Russia), Varvara Kovalyova, Stepan Murashov (Klintsy, Russia), Ignat Gerasimov (Goryachiy Klyuch, Russia).
The participants in “Tsemes Bay Cup-2025” also competed for prizes in 21 nominations. Varvara Kovalyova from Klintsy (Russia) was named the best in “Modelyushka-2025” nomination, for the best model among girls. The youngest and the oldest participants was also awarded with prizes in their corresponding nominations: junior, Mikhail Sivitskiy (Molodechno, Belarus); senior, Vyacheslav Stepanov (Nevinnomyssk, Russia). Another nomination was “Delight-2025”, the only one independent from the judges’ opinions, and it was won by Sergey Shikin (Novorossiysk, Russia) for his “Black Pearl” galleon (C-1 Class).
With no exception, all winners and prize-winners in 32 classes, 21 nominations and 5 cups holders were awarded with medals, diplomas, commendations and thanks to numerous competition sponsors - with valuable prizes!
In total, three refereeing teams worked at the event (senior judges - Dmitriy Shevelyov (Nizhniy Novgorod, Russia), Oleg Khotko (Minsk, Belarus) and Igor Belokon (Novorossiysk, Russia). The teams were led by Dmitriy Kalmykov (Minsk, Belarus), Shipmodeling Judge of International Category, chief coach of Belarus national teams in technical and aviation sports, President of SMSIF ShipModel Sport International Federation.
