The competition is held among radio-controlled yachts and serves to commemorate Igor Nalevskiy, Astrakhan-born World and European champion who won the regatta many times in his lifetime.

The recent, 32nd regatta was held under the auspices of SMSIF International Shipmodel Sport Federation. Modelers from Belarus, Uzbekistan and Russia participated in the competition. As always, the event venue was the picturesque area near Privolzhskiy Zaton (Volga River backwater). Both referees and competitors (experienced as well as beginning ones) were happy to talk to the spectators, adults and children alike, and to answer their questions.
